| 3. Next, you find yourself on the Sign up page. Take a few minutes and read this information. Click on the "Continue" button. | ![]() |
| 4. Now you should be on the disclaimer page. Take a few minutes and read through the Kintera, Inc. legalese. This just says that you will be ethical in the use of the calendar. | ![]() |
| 5. If you cannot agree to the terms or have some concerns, call State College Magazine at 814-867-2222 and ask for Patti Collins. If you can agree with the terms then just click on "I agree". | ![]() |

6. Finally you are on the registration page. Here is the online form you complete to register your organization. You only need to fill in three sections, fifteen simple fields, to register your organization. Once you have registered your organization and recorded your user name and password, you will never need to repeat this procedure again. Just enter your organization name and address and section one is complete. NOTE: The red "*" means the box must be filled in. If you leave a mandatory field blank, the form will be presented to you again and again until the field has something keyed in. |

| 7. Next, the system wants to know who to contact if there is a problem. Just fill in the four simple fields and section two is complete. | ![]() |
|
8. The third section keeps the bad people out of your business. This is where you enter your login name and your password. So that we are sure of your password, you need to enter it twice. The theory behind entering a password twice is that you will not key it incorrectly twice in a row. NOTE: It is very important that you enter your login name and password correctly as these are the keys that open the door for listing other events and for editing the events you have listed. WRITE YOUR LOGIN NAME AND PASSWORD somewhere for future reference. 9. Just in case you should forget both your password and where you wrote it down, the system gives you an opportunity to retrieve the information without having to ask anyone. The system will ask you one of five questions, if you get the answer right, your login name and password will be emailed to you. Select a question where the answer will not change. Favorite restaurant name may change and therefore I do not use this question. My mother's maiden name will never change and that, therefore, is the question I use. Just enter the answer and you have completed section three. Only two more steps and the organization registration process is complete.. |

11. Finally, just click on the "Submit" button and you have registered your organization. NOTE: If the form reappears on your screen, the form has been rejected. There are two reasons the form will be rejected: (1) A necessary field was not filled in correctly, or (2) The login name or password are already used by someone else. Just correct the discrepancy and click on submit again. When the form has been accepted you will find yourself on the "Post Your Event" page. |
